Empowered Auditions' founder and teacher, Sandra Croft, graduated from Rowan University with a B.A. in English Education.  She has taught English at Middletown High School South, New Jersey, and has trained young actors since 1996.  

    She is a member and actor with The Michael Chekhov Theatre Company at The 45th Street Theatre, NYC.  (www.chekhovtheatre.com)  

    A freelance writer, she has published Fifteen Monologs for Girls, a playkit for junior highs, with Contemporary Drama Service.  (https://www.contemporarydrama.com/catalogdetails.aspx?cat=891).  

    Aside from Empowered Auiditions she is a volunteer mentor and endeavors to inspire young writers, hoping that the future will indeed hold great American playwrights such as August Wilson, Arthur Miller, Tennessee Williams, and Sam Shepard.
